A Zeldin Company (AZC) makes blazingly contemporary theatre about the world we live in, bringing overlooked stories to a global audience.
Led by writer and director Alexander Zeldin and producer Faye Merralls, AZC makes theatre that brings the world closer.
Since it was founded in 2019, every AZC stage production has toured internationally, reaching audiences in 13 countries across 40 theatrical engagements to date.
AZC productions are written and directed for the stage by Alexander Zeldin, and rooted in porous research practice oriented towards people directly impacted by the central themes in each production.
Developed in collaboration with creatives, actors and technicians, AZC its productions often unite acting ensembles with a range of experience - from newcomers to seasoned performers.
The result is boundary-pushing and deeply inclusive theatre that goes behind the mirror of our time to tell us something afresh about the world we live IN.
